What is Pilates?

Pilates is a whole-body exercise method using a mat and a variety of Pilates equipment.  Pilates was developed by Joseph Pilates and it can transform the way your body looks, feels, and performs.  Pilates is a safe form of exercise that can help you build strength while increasing your mobility.  It teaches you to be in-tune with your body through mindful movements.  Pilates has been found to help relieve certain conditions such as back pain.

What is Private Pilates?

Private Pilates sessions are a one on one interactive experience to enjoy all the benefits of Pilates.  Every appointment is tailored to your specific needs and goals.  Using specialized Pilates equipment these custom-made programs are dedicated to aid the client’s goals and special conditions.

What is Duet Pilates?

Duets are small group focused sessions.  The goal for a duet session is get a great whole body full body workout from head to toe.  Small group is a fun way to interact with like students to challenge yourself to reach your goals!

Duets are offered as appointments or classes.  Appointments must be scheduled with both participants by your teacher while classes are available for individual registration.

Group class are held every week on Tuesday’s @ 5:00 PM, Thursday’s @ 5:30 PM, and Saturday’s @ 10:00 AM.

Please note, that duets are not appropriate for everyone.  There are special conditions where a student must take privates for safety reasons.  Please reach out to mary@erapilates.com with any questions or concerns.
